We can tailor a towing course just for you, so you can get the exact skills and knowledge that you require for your specific towing vehicle. Courses are offered across Logan, Bayside, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba and surrounding areas. Half Day Towing & Reversing Course
Ideally suited to the near novice with some confidence for towing and perhaps a partner with little to no prior towing experience at all. Up to approximately 4 hours in duration for 2 course participants in their own vehicle.Comprehensive Full Day Towing & Reversing Course
Designed for the complete novice or anyone upgrading to a larger caravan or camper providing practical on road towing experience to build knowledge and confidence.Practical Reversing Course

For the complete novice who simply wants the skills and confidence to hitch and tow a trailer, caravan od camper . Starts and finishes with you and your caravan.
HALF-DAY CARAVAN TOWING & REVERSING COURSE
Up to approximately 4 hours in duration for up to 2 course participants in their own vehicle.
Objectives:
Objectives:
- Acquire the knowledge necessary to satisfy legal obligations of towing a caravan/trailer
- Acquire and understand the knowledge and skills required to tow a caravan or trailer on the road safely
- Confidently couple and uncouple a caravan/trailer and manoeuvre to site
- Safely and legally load and stabilise a caravan/trailer
- Perform basic safety and security checks
- Manage fatigue safely and responsibly
- Responsibly share the road with other road users
Theory and practical elements covering:
- Understanding and assessing safe towing weights
- Preparing to tow a recreational vehicle
- Attaching a recreational vehicle to towing vehicle in accordance with manufacturer and state/territory requirements and regulations
- Check visibility and adjust the position of mirrors
- Requirements for the safe towing of a recreational vehicle on an open road, complying with national and state road rules and laws
- Identifying driving hazards to avoid or mitigate them, using appropriate defensive driving techniques (theory)
- Understand the practical application of proper procedures in the event of a driving emergency (theory)
- Manoeuvre a recreational vehicle in forward and reverse directions and park in accordance with requirements, manufacturer instructions, and traffic regulations
- Reversing a recreational vehicle to a parking position, maintaining visibility, and achieving accurate positioning
- Work with an observer as a team, or independently, to successfully achieve a reversing manoeuvre

COMPREHENSIVE FULL-DAY CARAVAN TOWING & REVERSING COURSE
Up to approximately 6 hours in duration for 2 course participants in the same vehicle.
Commences and finishes at your home address or other agreed location within our service area.
Features 2 x up to 1hr coached towing sessions out on the road.

- Work with an observer as a team, or independently, to successfully achieve a reversing manoeuvre

PRACTICAL ON ROAD TOWING COURSE
Approximately 2 hours in duration for 2 course participants in their own vehicle. Commences fro your home address or agreed location.
Objectives:
- Acquire knowledge and skills necessary to confidently and safely tow a caravan or trailer on a variety of road and traffic conditions
- Confidently couple and uncouple a caravan/trailer
- Identify and learn to manage the causes of trailer sway
Practical elements covering:
- Modify driving behaviour approptiate to towing including: braking, cornering, negotiating round abouts, merging into traffic, down hill decents
- utilise the desired process for safely coupling and un coupling a caravan or trailer
- set up seating position and mirrors for maximum effect while towing
- Set up and utilise an electric brake controller to effect
